Does FSB of a motherboard effect my speed of computing?

the FSB doesn't affect normal day to day computing, as normal computing rarely uses above 5% of the FSB, the only time the FSB is used all the way is in gaming, and doing CAD / heavy CPU intensive programs, and memory is not affected by the FSB, unless you are doing anything bandwith hungry, and FSB in Overclocking does affect how far you can go, but only due to the chipsets maximum FSB speed support.
