How to increase rank while in Navy DEP?

I'm a Senior in high school with good grades and a good ASVAB score. I am entering the DEP for the Navy in a few days. I will be in DEP for around 7-9 months. I was just wondering is it possible to move up in rank while in DEP? I am done with school in two months, so that means I will be in DEP for 5-7 months after school is out with not much to do other than PT. I have a few college credits I have received while in high school (if that matters). What should I do or know so I can increase my rank while in DEP?
