My car subwoofer connect to my sound system.?

I have a JBL GT series subwoofer for my car and I don't use it anymore, so i thought of hooking it up to the sound system in my room so I can have really loud subwoofers. How do I do this cuz it seems like I need some converting to do because of the wirings. and is it possible?
