I seldom meet any Taurus people...?

I think what is probably happening is that you meet and know all sorts of people who, though they may not be a Taurus Sun-sign, have Taurus as their Rising-sign. Also, I would be willing to be that you know a number of people with Venus in Taurus or Moon in Taurus. You'd be surprised!!!
