Chemistry homework help!!?

Well, here's what I'd do. I'd figure out how many calories it takes to heat that water, remembering that one calorie will raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius. Then I'd convert it to joules, and divide by 24,000,000 to get the number of POUNDS of oil you need. Then convert the pounds to kg, and you're done.
